If you don’t have enough possessions to fill a container, you can rest assured that only your possessions will be stored in the container. We’ll come to your home or office to pack and store your belongings, making the storage process seamless.

An authorised representative must be present both during the pickup and delivery of your belongings. This person at the delivery location is particularly crucial for guiding the Ready Movers crew on where to place furniture and cartons in the new home and completing the delivery documentation.
Ready Movers will disassemble and reassemble beds for your relocation. We may also need to remove table legs and buffet mirrors to transport these items safely. Any household furniture we disassemble will be reassembled upon delivery.
However, dismantling and reassembling items such as gas lift beds or Ikea multi-level beds, trampolines, gym equipment, and swing sets are not part of our standard service, as these often require specialised tools. Your Ready Movers consultant can include an option for specialist assembly services in your quotation proposal.
Please contact your Ready Movers consultant if you have added or removed furniture items between your initial quotation and your move. We will review and adjust the quote if necessary.
We can provide you with packing materials for your move. Alternatively, you can use your own packing materials. We recommend sourcing professional moving cartons designed for moving. Ready Movers can move small, valuable items such as jewellery, watches, or personal documents. However, we recommend that you take these items with you. If you wish for Ready Movers to pack and move high-value items, please inform your Ready Movers consultant when preparing the quotation.
Ready Movers can transport your pot plants, provided the pots are structurally sound, easily accessible, and handled with a fridge trolley across level surfaces. However, border restrictions may apply if you’re moving interstate or internationally. Ask one of our friendly consultants if you’re unsure.

Yes, you can cancel your move any time before the pickup day. No deposit is required for local moves, and there is no cancellation fee. However, cancellation periods may apply due to third-party transport arrangements for long-distance, interstate, and international moves. We recommend cancelling as early as possible to avoid any potential fees.
We always provide a minimum of two workers for each move to ensure efficient and safe task handling with adequate manpower. This allows for collaboration, enhances productivity, and ensures smooth moving operations without delays. If you require more than two workers, our friendly staff can arrange additional labour to meet your needs, ensuring quality service and customer satisfaction throughout the relocation process.
